Wellness is an active process of becoming aware and making choices towards a healthier and fulfilling life. Notice I said “process” because some things take time. 

Wellness refers to not just physical health, but spiritual, emotional and social issues as well. Too many times we focus on just one aspect not realizing that all are key components to why we are the way we are, why we react the way we do and feel the way we do. Coming to terms with and figuring out this process takes time but the end results is a life that you’ve always wanted. 

I am a firm believer in health and wellness and have come to realize that there’s is a direct and indirect connection between diet, mental and spiritual health. 

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 2017 during my pregnancy with child number 4, and since then it has been a challenging but rewarding journey. I feel like I have another chance at life, even though I am still battling this disease. Call me crazy, but Cancer was a wakeup call for me. I’ve found a renewed faith in God and people and want to use the knowledge I’ve gained over the years both professionally and in my personal life to educate and help others find their path to health, healing and wellness.
